Wind: Light sea breeze – then gale force SW change
Swell: 2 foot – then washing machine

Conditions: Very bad timing, I caught 2 waves before the change hit, turned to mush before I knew it. Was super clean and pretty straight this morning but I missed it. In the water for about 30min max, all over in a matter of minutes once that Southwesterly hit.

Vibe: Had it to myself, everyone else was smart enough to surf early…

Dribble before the change hit – it actually got a lot worse!

I had these hanging around the house from a previous home audio purchase, I don’t use headphones a lot so they were just collecting dust. I also had a new fine tip for my airbrush that I needed to test out and what better than a small scale artwork? I dismantled the headphones, gave the plastic covers a light sand. I made use of some leftover automotive base coat paints from another project, I pulled a quick reference pic off the web and got stuck into painting some skulls! Not terribly creative I know, but they fit well and I took some inspiration from the skullcandy product line.

I hit the completed artwork with some rattle can, clear enamel, hence the average finish quality on the gloss!

Well, talking to myself here no doubt, first post on a new blog and all that! Might as well get it out of the way and not crap on too much about nothing then.

What am I doing here? Well I started to post some stuff over on our business site and it sort of relates and adds depth but if you were a new customer you might think “huh?” if you saw it at the top of the page. So somewhere for that type of thing to land and an added reason for me to create, capture and contemplate as I will have somewhere to exhibit, a public space if you will.
